Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information PieceSwap collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We are built around data minimisation: there are no accounts, and we do not collect your email address. The Game is free to play and shows advertising, so limited technical data is processed by our advertising partner — that is set out in full below.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Sunsin Yazılım A.Ş. ("Sunsin", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game PieceSwap (the "Game").

Our approach is to collect as little as possible. The Game does not require an account, and we do not ask for or collect your name or email address. Your progress is saved on your own device.

2. Who is responsible for your data

Sunsin Yazılım A.Ş., an independent games studio incorporated in the Republic of Türkiye (Trade Registry No. 1140644), is the controller responsible for the limited data processed through the Game.

For any privacy question or request, you can contact us at pieceswap@sunsin.studio.

3. Information we collect

We do not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. The Game and the service providers named in this Policy process the following limited, mostly technical information:

  • Device and technical data — such as device model, operating-system version, language, and region;
  • Advertising identifier — such as Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID, used to serve and measure advertising and to attribute installs, and used for tracking only where you allow it;
  • IP address and coarse location — your IP address is processed by our advertising and attribution partners to deliver ads, attribute installs, and infer approximate location at country or city level. We do not collect GPS or precise location;
  • Advertising data — such as which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped, and whether an ad led to an action in the Game;
  • Usage and gameplay data — such as which cities you open, puzzles you complete, features you use, and session length, in aggregated or pseudonymous form;
  • Purchase events — such as which in-app item was bought and whether the purchase succeeded. We never receive your payment-card details;
  • Diagnostics — such as crash reports and performance data that help us fix problems.

This information is not used to build a profile that identifies you by name, and we never receive your payment-card details — in-app purchases are handled entirely by the app store.

4. How we use information

We use this information to:

  • run, maintain, and improve the Game;
  • diagnose crashes and fix bugs;
  • understand which parts of the Game people enjoy, so we know what to build next;
  • show advertising and measure how it performs (see below);
  • understand which marketing campaigns brought players to the Game;
  • deliver and support in-app purchases;
  • keep the Game secure and comply with our legal obligations.

5. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On Apple devices, the Game asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. We use this permission only for advertising, attribution, and measurement — for example, to show more relevant ads and to understand how ads and campaigns perform.

You are free to decline, and the Game will keep working with every feature intact. You can change your choice at any time in your device’s privacy settings.

6. Advertising and partners

The Game is free to play and is supported by advertising. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC and, for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, by Google Ireland Limited.

To select, deliver, and measure the ads you see, Google AdMob collects and processes limited information from your device, including:

  • your device’s advertising identifier (Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID);
  • your IP address, and approximate location inferred from it at country or city level;
  • device and app information, such as device model, operating-system version, language, and the app you are using;
  • ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown to you, how long they were viewed, and whether you tapped them.

Google acts as an independent controller or processor for this data depending on your region, and handles it under its own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at the links below:

Ads may be personalised or non-personalised. Personalised ads use the advertising identifier and past ad activity to make ads more relevant to you; non-personalised ads are based only on general context, such as your approximate location and the content of the Game, although they still require limited data for frequency capping, reporting, and fraud prevention. Where your consent is required — for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — personalised advertising is used only if you have given it, and declining does not stop you from playing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers so that they can identify you.

7. Analytics and attribution

We use two further service providers to understand how the Game is used and where players come from. Both process data in an aggregated or pseudonymous form, and neither receives your name or email address.

  • Amplitude — product analytics, provided by Amplitude, Inc. It receives pseudonymous event data such as which screens you open, which puzzles you complete, session length, and basic device information. We use it to see which parts of the Game work and which do not;
  • AppsFlyer — install attribution and marketing measurement, provided by AppsFlyer Ltd. It receives your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, and install and in-app event data, and uses them to tell us which marketing campaign or ad led to an install. Where ATT applies, the advertising identifier is used only if you allowed tracking.

We also use crash-reporting and performance tools so that we can find and fix problems in the Game.

8. In-app purchases

The Game is free to download and play, and it offers optional in-app purchases. Every purchase is processed by the platform you downloaded the Game from — the Apple App Store or Google Play — under that platform’s own terms and privacy policy.

We never see or store your payment-card details, billing address, or app-store account credentials. What we receive is limited to what we need to deliver what you bought and to keep our books: which item was purchased, whether the transaction succeeded, and a platform-issued transaction identifier.

For refunds, billing disputes, or purchase history, your app-store account is the place to start, because that is where the payment was taken.

9. Your photos and device content

PieceSwap is a photo puzzle game, and it is worth being explicit about what that does not mean: the Game does not read, access, upload, or scan your photo library, camera, contacts, files, or microphone.

Every image in the Game is licensed or created artwork that ships inside the app itself, and artificial-intelligence tools may be used in creating some of it. The Game does not ask for photo-library permission, and there is no feature that turns your own pictures into puzzles.

10. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with:

  • service providers who help us run the Game, such as advertising (Google AdMob), analytics (Amplitude), attribution (AppsFlyer), and hosting providers;
  • app stores and platforms, such as the Apple App Store and Google Play, under their own terms — including for the processing of in-app purchases;
  • authorities where required by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

11. Children

The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy. Much of the data we process is aggregated or pseudonymous, and diagnostic data is retained only for a limited period. Records relating to purchases are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your game progress is stored on your own device, not on our servers. Deleting the Game removes it.

13. International transfers

The Game is available in many countries, and the service providers we use may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains appropriately protected, such as relying on standard contractual clauses agreed with those providers.

14. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information — for example, under the GDPR (EEA/UK), the KVKK (Türkiye), or the CCPA (California).

Because we do not hold accounts or contact details, we may need certain technical information (such as your advertising identifier) to locate any data that relates to you. To make a request, contact us at pieceswap@sunsin.studio.

You can also use your device controls at any time. On iOS, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to withdraw tracking permission, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising to limit ad personalisation. On Android, open Settings → Privacy → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID and to opt out of ad personalisation. You can also manage Google’s ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

15. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we add new features or change the partners we work with. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page, and material changes take effect once the updated Policy is made available.

17. Contact us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, please contact us at pieceswap@sunsin.studio.
